Atrium

After the triumph of the boarding school in Kozhukhovo which brought a number of prestigious professional awards to the architectural studio "Atrium" and reputation of social-oriented developer to the "DON-Stroi" company, their co-operation simply had to be continued. Anton Nadtochy and Vera Butko designed children educational campus, consisting of a school for 1100 students and two pre-school facilities, for the 12th district of Shchukino. It’s been dominated by DON-stroi "Alye Parusa" for a few yeas now.

Vladimir Bindeman’s studio "Arhitekturium" designed "Kiparis" hotel for Hostinsky district in Sochi. Because of the considerable relief drop the 7storey building looks like a 3storey one, but due to the distinguished boomerang shape it can be a new sign of the area.

“Evgeny Gerasimov and Partners” designed a building, resembling both a Venetian palace by the water and a romantic castle, for Krestovsky island, which for a few years now has been seized with an elite housing development boom.

Marfino residential district located in the north-east of Moscow, made into the recent history as a huge area of typical housing development. However, it was not such before: the concept was totally changed a few times, from elite to “economy-class” real estate. "Sergey Kiselev & Partners” was in charge of the next to last reincarnation of Marfino.

Paul Andreev architects

Reconstruction of "Tsentralnaya" hotel is one of Moscow projects fated to raise heated debates. Defenders of historical objects call it just “destruction of the monument”, but the officials name it “restoration and development”. Pavel Andreev, the architect and author of the project takes a philosophical approach to such opposition of terminology, saying that monuments will always be reconstructed and the story of "Central" just proves it.

Last autumn, in Kaluga, there was held an open contest on the second stage project of The State Museum of Cosmonautics History in the name of K.E. Tsiolkovsky. Vissarionov’s PTAM arranged the new constructions of the museum mostly under the underground, in the natural slope.

Vladimir Bindeman’s architectural studio designed a residential complex for 530 apartments in Leninsky district of Chelyabinsk city. Home of USSR heavy industry will have a building with distinguished silhouette, uncommon tectonics and bright coloring.

SPeeCH

SPeeCH architectural studio designed an educational and sports complex along Zemlyanoi Val, nearly opposite to Taganka Theatre.The new 3storey volume responds the one of the most famous objects of Moscow architecture of 1970’s with the same active relief and terracotta finishing of the façade.

Atrium

"Olympiisky" residential area in the suburbs of Krasnodar city is the first project of a complex housing development in the portfolio of "Atrium", the architectural studio. Despite that Anton Nadtochy and Vera Butko had never designed for a 300 ha territory, they did their job brilliantly, they developed a truly "green" village with high-level infrastructure.

This year, in autumn there was held an international architectural contest on the best project of Taipei Pop Music Center. The finalists (Studio Gang Architects was one of them) were announced in November, but their projects haven’t been published yet.
